How we get plantings established

Soil first

Omaha clay needs amendment and proper bed prep. Most planting failures are drainage failures at the root ball.

Right plant, right spot

Sun exposure, wind and moisture decide the list. Fighting a site with the wrong species never works.

Spaced for maturity

Beds look slightly sparse at install and correct in three years. Planting for day one is why beds get crowded.

Ask us a planting question

When is the best time to plant?

Spring and early fall. Summer planting works with diligent watering, which is the part people underestimate.

How long until it fills in?

Perennials read full in two seasons; shrubs in three to five. We can plant tighter for faster effect at higher cost.

Do you guarantee plants?

Yes, within a stated establishment period, provided the watering guidance is followed.

What about deer and rabbits?

They are a real factor in parts of the metro. We steer species accordingly and can add protection.

Do I need irrigation?

Not necessarily, but it dramatically improves survival in the first two summers. We can coordinate it.
